This has been going for some time, Jo Swanson says she had been misled. But surely JS was aware of the allegations against Horizon. So what did she do about it. She seems to have just accepted it, she has not delved deeper, as with a number of Post Office Ministers who did not dig into the case. The Ministers were negligent in their enquiries.

It's not rocket science - jail her and others involved in the cover-up for many years, take away any bonuses, shares or pensions they've received, award every sub -postmaster at least 1m each and a full public apology. She should not pass go or collect £200.

Vennells needs her next “double down” to be in Prison, and she should not be the only one. Minimum 10 years. When you listen to those weasels giving testimony, it is amazing how many have memory lapses when faced with documents that prove they knew, yet were prepared to send good people to prison, bankruptcy and breakdowns, to save their own jobs.

Has Fujitsu employees siphoned off the adjustments of money. Altering figures then withdrawing cash moved to other accounts. This is the only logical theory I can think of why they were not able to find the missing money. Fujitsu employees bank accounts also need to be checked along with earnings and expenses over this period. I think answers are there it’s the only logical explanation. I have always believed Postmasters were innocent after 2 cases and that the CEO thought that they employed criminals is unbelievable. It is obvious that such hard working people that are in-charge of a lot of money would not blatantly steal money.The CEO & sidekick have no common sense honesty or empathy absolutely NONE. A HUGE Corporate scandal cover up. WHY ? Why not be honest about it and think hold on our Postmaster are Hardworking Good People. But more importantly they need to be compensated IMMEDIATELY

Unlike Jo Stinson, Boris Johnson would not have been mislead. He would have dived right in and sorted it out.

If she's lied to a parliamentary committee, misled ministers and caused delays of years to the correction of miscarriages of justice then she needs to be held to account. She's going to be asked some pretty direct questions about all this at the enquiry and it will interesting to see what she does.
